My name is Kimberly (Kim) Bashor. I reside in Las Cruces, NM with my wonderful husband, Jim, of almost 36 years and my fluffy white dogs, Ollie and Indiana Jones. I have two grown children, Layne (Baltimore, MD) and Drew (Chandler, AZ). Professionally, I have spent my post-bacheloriate time as an educator, a business owner, a public speaker, a consultant, and a MOM.
I enjoy the privilege of uniting couples. I am an ordained non-denominational minister. I have performed traditional ceremonies, Christian ceremonies, civil ceremonies, inter-faith ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, ceremonies involving children, and ceremonies of vow renewals. The truly wonderful aspect about each ceremony is that there are no rules or limits on creativity and each ceremony can be as unique as the couple it is intended for. I enjoy listening to each couple. I love interpreting their ideas, words, and feelings into something concrete, and assisting them to share their promises of love through ceremony with family and friends.
I am a true romantic. I believe completely in marriage, joinings, and commitments. I look forward to introducing you to Hitching Hearts. It will be my honor to be your officiant/celebrant and to assist you on your very, VERY important day!
